Jewellery Care
Jewellery Care Guide
We want your jewellery to stay beautiful for as long as possible. Because our collection features a variety of materials — including stainless steel, brass with silver plating, and solid silver — each piece may require slightly different care. Please check the product description for the material of your item and follow these tips to keep it looking its best:
General Care for All Jewellery
-
Last on, first off: Put your jewellery on after applying perfume, lotion, hairspray, or cosmetics, and remove it before cleansing your skin.
-
Avoid contact with chemicals: Keep jewellery away from cleaning agents, chlorine, salt water, and strong fragrances, as these can cause tarnishing or discoloration.
-
Store safely: When not in use, keep your pieces in a dry, soft pouch or jewellery box to prevent scratches and minimize exposure to air and moisture.
-
Gentle cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe your jewellery after wearing it to remove oils and sweat. Avoid abrasive materials.
Stainless Steel
-
Highly durable and resistant to tarnish.
-
Can be worn more regularly and is less sensitive to moisture compared to other materials.
-
Clean with mild soap and water if needed, then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
Brass & Silver-Plated Jewellery
-
Avoid water and sweat: Do not wear these pieces while swimming, showering, or exercising, as moisture can cause the plating to fade or brass to tarnish.
-
Limit wear: Extended wear may cause natural tarnishing — rotate with other jewellery to prolong shine.
-
Polish gently: If tarnish appears, use a soft polishing cloth. Avoid strong cleaning solutions, which can strip the plating.
Silver Jewellery
-
Silver can naturally darken (oxidize) over time.
-
Store in an airtight pouch to slow tarnishing.
-
Clean gently with a silver polishing cloth or mild silver cleaner if needed.
